...Deserts...A Dry Sandy Barren Region...


1.  Sand dunes migrate in the direction of the prevailing wind.

2.  Sand dunes moves about 20 to 30 feet a year.

3.  Deserts temperatures are not uncommon to be 120 to 130 
    degrees F. during the daytime hours.

4.  Not uncommon to be 75-85 degrees F. at night.

5.  The winds in a desert may blow as far as 2,000 miles away.

5.  Moving sands has completely covered everything in their
    path way including whole cities.
