"I N E R T I A"




1. In Physics: A body at rest will remain at rest until acted upon
               by an outside force.

2. In Physics: A moving body remains moving in the same direction
               until acted upon by an outside force.

3. When riding a train, auto, or aircraft, it is "Inertia" which
   produces our sensations.

4. When the train or auto suddenly slows down or speeds up or rounds
   a curve, our body wants to continue moving uniformly in a straight
   line.

5. When an aircraft lands, takeoffs, climbs, decends or banks, our
   body wants to continue to move in a straight line.

6. INERTIA: Also causes the locomotive to wheeze and strain in order
   to accelerate a long train of cars.
