1. Clean unpulleted water is tastless, colorless and oderless. 2. The "p" stands for "potenz" which means the potential to be and the "H" stands for "Hydrogen". 3. The pH of distilled water is (7) which is neutral. Any solution with a below 7.0 (1.0 to 6.9) is and acid. Any solution with a pH above 7.0 (7.1 to 14) ia an alkali. 4. Acidic solutions have a pH between 1 anf 6.9. Our stomah contains a Ph of 9. 5. Alkaline soultions have a pH between 7.1 and 14. Our small intestines is a pH of 9. 6. The pH scale was invented many years ago. 7. All acids produce Hydrogen Ions (H). Acids such as Hydrochloric Acid produce Hydrogen Ions. When the Hydrogen Chloride Gas dissolves in the water the molecules of Hydrogen Chloride dissociate into Hydrogen Ions and Chloride Ions. 8. In 1909, the Danish Bicohemist Sõren Sõrensen invented the pH scale for measuring acidity.
