Nanometer: A unit of measuremet: 1 billionth of a meter: nm
"Newton's Law"
1st Law: Defines the Law of Force:
A body remains at rest or moves with constant velocity in a straight
line unless acted upon by a force.
2nd. Law: Defines Mass:
The amount of force necessary to accelerate a body depends on the mass
of the body.
If the same force is applied to two bodies of different masses it will
produce a greater acceleration in the smaller body than in the larger body.
3rd. Law: The action of a force always produces a reaction in the body.
The reaction is of equal magnitude but opposite in the direction of the action.
"Newton's Law of Gravitation"
1. The force by which a body attracts another body increases with the mass of the object it
attracts.
"The Principle of Equivalence of Gravitation & Inertia"
1. There is no way to distinguish the motion produced by inertial forces (Accereration, Recoil,
Centrifugal Force, etc) frpm motion produced by gravitational force.
NAVAID:NEXRAD: Electronic Navigation Air Facility.

Noreaster: A deep low pressure system which moves along the Eastern United States seaboard producing heavy strong winds
causing heavy land erosion and much damage along the shore.

Nanosecond: A unit of time: 1 billionth of a second: ns
National Climatic Data Center: NCDC: Weather Data collection center located at: Ashville, North carolina.
National Hurricane Center:NHC: National Hurricane Center, Miami, Florida.
National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration: NOAA: National Weather Service Headquarters located in Silver Spring, MD.
National Severe Stroms Forecast Center:NSSFC: National Severe Stroms Forecast Center, Kansas City, MO.
National Weather Severe Cooperative Observer:National Weather Severe Cooperative Observer Program:
Nation Weather Service Forecast Office:NWSFO: National Weather Service Forecast Offices located in many cities throughout the United States
such as Mt. Holly, New Jersey.
Nation Weather Service Office:NWS: National Weather Service Offices located in many cities throughout the United States.
Nautical Mile: A nautical mile is about 1.15 statute mile.
Nautical Twilight: When the sun is no more than 12 Degs. below the horizon before sunrise and after sunset.
2. The bigger the object, the stronger the call of gravity.
3. If a object is small, its inertia or tendency to resist motion is small, but the force that
gravity exerts upon it is also small.
4. If a object is big, its inertia is great, the force that gravity exerts upon it is also great.
5. Gravity is always exerted in the precise degree necessary to overcome the inertia of any object,
therefore, that is why all objects fall at the same rate regardless of their inertial mass.
2. This is evident when flying an airplane. In an airplane it is impossible to seperate the effects
of inertia from those of gravitation.
3. The physical sensation of pulling out of a dive is exactly the same as that produced by exacuting
a steeply banked turn at high speed.
4. In both cases the factor known to flyers as a "G-Load", (Gravity Load) appears. Blood is drawn from
away from the head, and the body is pulled heavily down into the seat. To the pilot who is
flying "blind" and without instruments, these effects can be fatal.
NEXRAD:NEXRAD: Next Generation Weather Radar.
NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration under the Dept. Of Commerce: Which includes the National Weather Service.
NOAA Weather Radio:NOAA National Weather Radio: Broadcasts Weather Information 24 Hours a Day on the following frequencies.
